Antamedia Remote Control software

This package has several applications:

Remote Gateway is a central application that communicates with Remote Host and Control applications and decides which user may login or access another computer. It should be installed on a computer with a static IP, that can be accessed by all computers in the network.

Remote Control helps you login to the system and remotely control any connected user. You can view desktop, copy files, chat with remote user, or even share a part of your desktop for tutorial purposes or web meeting purposes.

Remote Host is an application you should start on a computer which you want to control remotely. It is suitable for unattended computers, as it can be installed as a service to automatically start with Windows. You can support multiple Groups of users or Organizational units, while preventing Control users (local administrators) to connect to other Groups without rights.

Remote is an application you should start on a computer which you want to control remotely. It is suitable for customer support as it allows any user to quickly connect to your system, and to get help from the Control user (you and any user with a control priviledge). You can view desktop, copy files, and chat with remote user.

To test the software :
1. Please run the Gateway on one Windows based computer (may be run on a remotely hosted on the Internet, or local computer accessible from all other computers).
2. Run "Remote.exe" on a computer you wish to access
3. Run Control application from your computer

Login with provided test accounts. After defining Gateway IP, you should be able to connect to the remote host computer.

What is the difference between Remote.exe and RemoteHost.exe ?
Remote Host helps you control unattended computers. It can be installed as a service and as such, it will start on every Windows start.
Remote is a lite version suitable for customer support. It does not require created account on the Gateway - instead customer may type their own name and connect on your system.

Groups can be used to isolate a group of users and admins from another group. For example, you may define multiple companies as groups and assign their own administrators. Such admins will not be able to see computers from another company.

Super admins can connect to any computer in the network.
